11:34 am: hi, i am in thailand safe and sound, and on an island called koh samet where there is no sun typical!! will update when i have more time, but everything is ok at moment!!

04:28 pm: oooh this weekend gem and i were treated to a mini break in the manchester countryside. So fay, will and his sister had a party at their lovely countryside manor, which we were very impressed with, cos it had a massive garden, a lake, and a luxury buffet! We enjoyed sitting in their hot tub, naked, and sliding down a plastic sheet covered in bubbles, almost naked. As part of the holiday experience, gem and i got to sleep in a lovely caravan parked outside the house. We also played on the karaoke, and sang gangsters paradise more than once. The lovely evening was topped off by an interlectual chat about veganism with jimmy whitney houston beal.
Then in the morning, whilst feeling a little bit ill, we were taken on a safari into the buxton hills in a land rover, where i thought we were going to fall out and die. Lots of fun had by all, now we're nackered and smell like poo.
seeing yage this evening, very excited, as theyre going to be mint. Yeah!

well what have heva and demma been doing recently?
still need jobs, got a cheap hair cut today, saw some more great bands, looking forward to seeing some more great bands, sunbathed, found a nice scenic manchester walk, eating ben and jerries, watching big brother. Doesnt get more exciting than that.
Oh we got a new settee the other day, that was exciting. Going to a party tomorrow with a hot tub and a karaoke machine. To me that sounds like lots of nakedness and gemma shouting her head off. Whoooopeeee

03:08 pm: well i might just start this bastard up again, to record just how mint life is at the mo. I got very little money, still no job, the weather is ming but im having such a great time doing nowt! Coming back from thailand has just changed my life i swear haha, how profound. Gem and i have been partying hard in various ways,sometimes only in our underwear. Been listening to alot more early 90's dance music which always perks me up, and have totally discovered the joys of alcohol. About 7 years too late some may say, but its pretty great isnt it!
Went to a gig last night, which was just ace, new venue for manchester, and new faces, the atmosphere was so exciting, it felt just like it did when i first moved here 2 years ago. I had so many good times back then, somehow i have neglected all the memories til now, but i want to relive those times! I am making a pledge here and now to go to alot more gigs like i used to, being a housewife and sittin at home just isnt fun!
Last night was alot of fun, as we ended up taking two of the american guys who were on tour to the Ritz, cos they wanted to party hard! Altho the Ritz is the rubbishest club in the world, i also think its one of the best... cos its so crap. We had lots of fun pretending to people that the americans were actually from taking back sunday, and i got some abuse from the fat old dj, and he said i was an aids ridden groupie over the tanoy!AMAZING, what a guy.
I wanna go and see pelican on saturday in leeds reeeally bad, cos i think it will be top, but fay and willy are havin g a dressing up party at theirs.. hmm decisions decisions. I could go as a toilet lady again, i really got into that the last time.

01:36 pm: soooooooooooo
back in manchester now, been to kettering with gemma for a few days since we arrived back in england. So wierd to be home, and abit depressing too. Our tans are rapidly fading, and i ran out of money arghh! But anyways, gemmy got her photos developed and we've had lots of fun looking back at our drunken antics. Even got the skinny dipping ones too, too funny!
So last night was the start of our party hard mission for summer. Off we trotted to satans hollow with all the cool kids, and had a funny time dancing to alot of music we didnt have a clue of. Gemma kept grinding my leg like a randy puppy, and i had to remind her we were not in thailand anymore, cant get away with doing stuff like that here haha!

11:00 am: fuck man!!!!!!
so our holiday is very nearly at an end, and its very depressing! last night was our last night on the islands, boo hoo. We are leaving for bangkok today to go shopping then flying thursday. So last night, we were on a mission to have a ball, and bloody hell we did. So after drinking alot of whiskey buckets, hmmmm yeah about a full bottle each, ouch!!we aprtied hard with all the people we have met along the eway and alot of others. Gemma decided she wanted to skinny dip, so after asking more or less the whol;e beach to join us, it ended up being me and her haha!!! i woke up this morning with my thong round my head and my bikini inside out! Oh yeah, i also spewed up my cordon bleu into a bucket and passed out on our balacony thing.
Me and gemmy also got matching tatoo last night, hahaha who hilarious is that! Probably got the aids, but oh well! nah it was pretty mint actually, it was true thai style tatooing where they gdo i\it all by hand using a bamboo shoot.
Ouch i am so bitten, i have blisters on my mossie bites now.
So off to horrible bangkok but going shopping to buy lots of fake stuff!

04:22 pm: hellooo everybody!
well last update before i get home,, which is next friday, boo hoo. Had a mint couple of days. Changed island again, lots of partying, lots of drinking, lots of friends. Good times. So gutted about coming home, i cant even tell you. Me and gemma have had the idea of moving to brighton, and following the sun! Anyone wanna come with us?
So i heard from the lovely ex boyfriend today, telling me how hes got a new girlfriend already! What a lovely thing to hear when on holiday. Funny how you can spend so long with someone, and think you know them so well, trust what they say but at the end of the day its all bollocks. I guess thats one of lifes little mysteries. We learn from experiences, and im glad ive learnt them young. Wont be falling for that one again in a hurry!!
So cant be bothered typing what we've done... but we.re having a full moon party in our back garden when we get back, and bringing some red bull home, that has amphetamines in it here! how mint, haha no wonder we cant sleep. And we shall bore you with our photos and stories so ill save all the news til then!

12:13 am: so since last time...
we spent some more days on the beach just chilling. On our last day in ko samui we headed into town with some of the guys we had met, and with our friend, a camp thai waiter who only knows the english words, madonna, number one and beautiful! So we were drinking some cheap bucket alcohol again and dancing to fifty cent all night. Wow i have never had so much fun i swear. Our ladyboy was chucking us across the dance floor and pulling some hot moves. What a guy!! The day after, we went on a boat trip to the islands where the beach as filmed. They were so pretty. I made an isrealian friend who was built like arnold schwarzennnger and looked like jean claude van dam! He was ace.
So yesterday we said our goodbyes and moved islands.... where we found a little resort on the side of a cliff. It has a hammopck, balcony, and its own kitten! all for 200baht a night... which is like 2quid 60. hahah how amazing is that.
I have been bitten loads in the last few days though, i look like ive got leprosy and am itchy all the time, ouch. Little blighters. So only a qweek to go,,, i am so depressed whenever i think about it. Home is a million miles away. I want to stay here forever, its paradise, aww man.

04:35 pm: howdi kids!!
bit of a while since the last update, again, so much has happened. We have now been on an island called ko samui for 4 nights, and its absolutely gorgeous.At first we were in a beach hut which was right on the beach front! The sea is blue and thwe sand bloody hot! On the first day we got here, we were out in the sun for only about an hour, but gemma forgot to put cream on her feet and burnt them really badly, so much so shes been in pain to walk up until tday really. So we've been taking it really easy and not moving about too much, topping up our tans nicely though!
The beach is almost deserted, its pretty surreal. So peaceful, god its heaven! Met some cool people though, everyone seems to have awesome travelling stories, and its just fuelled my dream of travelling about more.
So onto the good bit, well last night was the infamous full moon party, on an island about half hour away from ours. So like 8,000 other tourists we catch a speed boat over there... and bloody hell it was hilarious, i thought we were gonna die at some points, as it was going so fast, the boat spent more time flying in the air than it did in the water and we got pretty wet. So that was an adventue before we even arrived! Met some aussies on the boat who gave some alcohol when we got there... and off we went. They later expected us to go back to their room though, so i decided i hate aussies.
This place is crazy right, the beach is packed full of tourists, food stalls, lights, dodgy music etc etc. It was such an unreal atmosphere. We danced to so much horrible music, it was great!! So ofcourse we try some alcohol, cos apart from a few cocktails this holiday, we;ve been very good girls! The drinks of the night were these bizarre things served in a bucket, like a kids bucket that they would use to build sandcastles right, and you get a bottle of vodka or whiskey in it, a can of pop and a red bull and lots of straws. So basically you buy these things for dirt cheap and share it with your firends, and my god they are so lethal!!
We got there about 8, and by the time i knew it it was already 4 in the morning, crazy stuff! Gemma was sooooooo wasted at one point, i wasnt too bad, but sill bad enough.
Oh but the oddest things right... at the start of the night, some guys come over, and we'd asked them directions the day before. Turns out theyre staying in the same beach huts as us... but not only that, they got to uni in manchester and live behind withington librabry!!! Christ on a bike. One of them even is on fays german course...
So out of like 10,000 people, gemma decides to snog a guy who lives literally two minutes up the road from us, so funny! They got abit annoying though, well i thought so cos i got in a mood due to the fact that that night i realised all men are complete perverts and befriend you only in hope they can get in your pants and touch you up. So we ran away from them. One of them was having a go at me cos i went to man met, (they are rich boys) and originally thought my accent was scouse. Bastard. So now im worried that we will constantly be hiding from big posh blonde bastards with tony and guy haircuts on the number 42 bus.
Im pretty nackered though, i pulled my first beat the night in ageees!! We got back by about 6, but i thjink the red bull had kicked in and i couldnt switch my brain off at all. Plus the dreaded bad tum has come back, and its now tea time and i feel like poo, need one actually awell.
So has anyone received the post bards i sent out? tom? sara? I hope they aint got lost, it was about a week ago when they left here.
Dunno what we're doing tomorrow, probably making our selves more black mommafied, but then on sunday we're going to a big marine park for the day and maybe do some snorkelling.

09:25 am: wow so where do i begin. Well firstly i wanna say something about a little problem that has occured back at home, i rang home the other night to find that my brother (bomba brother as some of u might know him as..) had been in hospital for a week. Basically he had a seizure at home, so they took him in and have been testing his brain etc ever since. To conclude, my brother has basically pickled his brain so much with drug abuse that it cant function properly anymore. He aint no crack head or heroin addict though, he has been smoking weed everyday since he was 14. He's now in his thirties. We have always known that marajuana has affected him, cos he has terrible paranoia and gets nervous when talking to people, even his family unlerss he's stoned. Its really sad, cos although i dont really see him too often, hes a very loveable character, and now hes fucked, and he brought it all on himself. It makes me worry about my friends too. But ofcourse weed isn't addictive isnt it......... hmmmmm
Oh well, on a lighter note, the past few das have been truely amazing. Out of this world infact. Since i last updated, we visited an elephant conservation centre, which was an amazing experience. The surroundings were beautiful, and we got to ride on the back of a an elephant, and watched them bathe. There's also a hospital there, where elephants which have had their legs destroyed by land mines go to get treated. The work they do there is so great, we didnt want to leave. Took lots of pictures to show you all!
Then that evening we stayed with a thai family, and had this massive authentic supper, god it was lush, but i've been suffering ever since! One day our bellies will be better again im sure. Bad thing though, there are alot of squat loos here, and imagine trying to poo whilst crouched down... yuck.
Last night was the last day of our trek, and we had a 12 hour train journey to get back to bangkok (where we are now) The train was mint though, it folded out into beds, and i had a top bunk. Very exciting! So today its now 9.30, and we got nothing to do or anywhere to go until 6 this evening, where we pick up aan overnight bus and go down south to our island ! Such a tiring day.
Ohhhhh my god, forget to say about a second ladyboy show we went to! this was so good, it was a cabaret, where they all dressed up in sequined costumes and mimed and danced to cheesy english songs like celine dione! Unfortunaley there was only us and another table watching them, haha but me and gem had lots of fun. One of the ladies particularly took my fancy, i named her Trish, she was gorgeous and very feminine, and her boob kept falling out! She came over at the end though and we heard her deep voice, that was scary.
Cant wait to get down south and just lie on the beach! This week has been amazing, seen so many things and experienced real thai life which i dont think we would have if we didnt go on that trek. Im ready to have a nice lie in now though, and a decent shower.

07:14 pm: hi everyone!
so since i last updated, we have now left bankok and started our trek to the north of the city. Before we left, we went to a mint market with lots of very very cheap fake designer gear, anyone want a von dutch hat for 1.50??
This part of town was really sleazy too, where all the sex shows take place! All you need to do to get in is buy a bottle of beer! we're gonna go on the way back we think... So we went into a club, to see some ladyboys, and oh my god, they are amazing! They were in these really skimpy bikinis, dancing round poles (to the best cheesy music ever) and they had hips and everything! the only way u could tell reaslly was that they were tall... thai women are really tiny. So that was an experience and a half.
Since then, we joined our trek, and took a train ride from bangkok to the village thing im sat in today. We're staying at the coolest little bungalows/beach huts ever! they have a varanda, and are all made of wood, the lizards and stuff crawl about the ceiling, and they have a pet chicken! We have big mossie nets covering the bed, we feel like princesses!
Today was pretty hot! we sweated our arses off, and took a bike ride around the ancient temples. Then on the way back stopped off and watched some people in rice fields. Its so pretty here, i cant even begin to describe. Im sure ill all bore you stupid with my photographs.
We've had a brilliant thai massge, she pulled my body around and stood on me legs!ouch, feel great now tho. Off to buy some food off a street venda and probably give myself diareah again! Oh and right next to this shop is a park where they're doing public aerobics.... to a rave version of bon jovi!!how great is that! im in heaven.

08:55 pm: hellooo!! god u lot are boring, no updates!
anyways, back to me! today was a little stressful, we keep getting ripped off by taxi drivers! its so wierd, ill have to explain when i get back, but basically bangkopk is a dodgy dodgy place for foreigners we have discovered! Not sure whether we actually like it... and gemma got her purse robbed from her bag today, luckily it turned up, but minus money, still got her credit cards though, phew!!
So went to this mint market today, god everything is so cheap here, lots of wonderful fakes,like ray bans' for 2 quid!!cant even get scratty ones over at home for that eh! and converse, these wierd crazy colours for like under a tenner! Food is mega cheap too, got a proper 3 course meal for like 90p yesterday haha! We have developed bad tummies though, so as you can imagine our bathroom stinks.....mmm
We also booked our bus and a lovely little beach shack for a week, for when we head down south to the beach! that was proper cheap too. We cant wait to get into the sun, its been peeing it down here and thundering...dead hot though.
Tomorrow we join our trek, cant wait to see some english people haha. OH my god, yeah last night, walking through town, some horrible little thailand guy started following us, and wouldnt leave us alone, followed us in the hotel, we had to peg it up to our room and lock ourself in, he was so scary! But apart from that its mint here!!

05:17 pm: hi everybody!!!
well we arrived safely!the journey was bloody long and tiring, but we got some great plane food, well i thought it was great! Arrived at our hotel, and oh my god for 11 quid a night this is fit for a queen, its got chandaliers, heated swimming pool, jaccuzi.. etc etc. We had a sauna as soon as we got here to help us unwind haha. Last night we ventured out for some food.... ended up at some place that was having a 'bbq' right. Well we were the only white people there, and we looked stupid... but this bbq was just plain odd. You picked up your own uncooked meat, then they gave us this big hot vat thing, that u put the meat on top of, and cook it yourself..nontheless, we didnt know what we were doing and im suprised we havent got dodgy tummy from it yet...but early days!!|
Today we got up early, and went to the grand palace, took lots of pictures, my my the thais like their gold! We also got ripped off by nasty taxi drivers, saw a snake show and a little zoo with monkeys and a lion it was horrible, went up the river in a boat to see the slums, and got completely rained on! Its like rainy season, lucky us!
Well i better go, as this net is very expensive. Oh did i mention we have a marble bathroom?? oh myyyyy.... its great here!!

10:19 am: whoooooooooooooooooooo so in about an hour gemma and i are leaving for the plane. I have butteflies!!
Kettering has been lots of fun, its such a nice place eventho gem dont think so. Hung with the lovely kettering fellows, went for a picnic, and they took us to somewhere called Hills and Dales at like midnight, so we were walking through this abandoned quarry/forest thing in the pitch black, and i almost fell down a ravine!!! oh no, i could have died!!I escaped unhurt though.
Aapart from that we have been drinking real champagne and eating home made carrot cake. Oh this is the life!! I AM GOING TO THAILAND IN A MINUTE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am so lucky to be going away and so excited too, this is going to do me the world of good! Im glad to be getting away from manchester to be honest, eventhough ive been so genuinely happy of late, ecstatic even and wanted to sort alot of shit out,people still seem to want to spoil it. I have no idea why they cant just be civil and nice, after all thats what im trying to do or maybe this is the real them? all bitter and full of attitude....
Hey but if they cant reciprocate nicely what can i do eh! Leave them to it i guess. I wish i wasnt so sensitive about things, its my own fault really. So tomorrow im off to see gemma down the lovely kettering then off on my travels.

08:12 am: this is well rubbish,no matter how hard i try i cant sleep in past 8 oclock in this house, my bloody bedroom is just far to bright. Anyways, last night was a hoot and a half, abit of drinking, abit of socialising, abit of rocking. Shane and amy came to my house to start with, and shane poured us lots of lovlies martinis, which i havent drank before. I got abit spazzy and couldnt stop laughing for a while.. i think tom got really pissed off at me for some reason, oh well!
Then went to my favourite pub the garret, and met some other dudes and dudettes, then onto the big SH. All the usual faces were out, i would link them here, but i dont know how to, and you're probably not arsed knowing who they are anyways. Ive properly missed going out and just talking to everyone properly, it mkaes me think how boring id become. Well old hattie is back now!!
I think i had a smidge too much to drink tho (understatement?!), but it all started to feel wierd near the end, cos like eventhough i was surrounded by loads of people, wanting to talk to me and that,i still felt totally alone. Its sad to think that i might need another person, just make feel fully complete y'know? I really need to sort that out, cos thats a really rubbish way to be like, even i can see that. Oh well, its still early days though, so im no too concerned.... hmmm
Well today i think helen is taking me to chorlton for a bargain shopping extravaganza. Quality Save is the king of all shops, if you havent been in, you really must. Then im going to head off to leeds for some gig at some skate park, and hang with some people that i havent properly seen in a long time, and hopefully do some scenster partying hahaha. So looking forward to that. Im worried about my money though, cos ive spent alot of late.. ill have to get the shitty megabus today then.

well today has been nice, i met amy for abit of retail therapy, got some jesus sandals, a walkman and a hairdryer, lovely stuff! We then went to pizza express and spent alot of money on eating lush food and drinking wine over lunch. I feel blooming stuffed now. This evening i think some friends are coming over and some drinking will be had before going out to rock. Can't wait!
My flatmate has been packing her stuff up, i feel quite emotional really, delacourt is gonna be different from now on.....anyways, only a few days to go before i go away, ohhhhhhhh myyyy god how excited am i!!!!
